Random Drawings from Siggraph 2010

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the long delay in postings. Got super busy with alot of things that I had to put this on the back burner for a couple of months. Anyways, here are some random doodles that I was doing at Siggraph during breaks between production sessions just to kill time. I am trying to come up with a character that is dim witted, strong, and could be a henchmen to a villian. So right now, I am still working on the head but I narrow it down to a couple of that I like. Hope you enjoy it. (=0D)

"I'm not protecting anyone...."

Hi Everyone,

How's everyone been doing? Hopefully everyone has been doing awesome. Sorry for the delay in posting animation/artwork on here. Its been a crazy busy past few weeks for me since my last post. I am just finish blocking a 11 second dialogue animation test that I really wanted to do back in April but haven't been able to do until a couple of weeks ago. It's in step mode and this is just the key poses. Hopefully, it won't take me long to finish the animation and have it on here very soon. So here it is. Hope you enjoy. (=0D)

Cartoony Scramble Run

Hey Everyone,

Here's a more refined practice version of the cartoony scramble run exercise that I am doing from Jason Ryan's webinar series. I am still using the low res version of the moom rig since i spot some problems in the animation with the high res version. So I have go back and fix those problems as well as smooth out some of the arcs still. This has been a really fun animation test to work on that deals with cartoony animation. If you have any feedback, please let me know. It would be most appreciated. Good Bye for now.

Sincerely,

"Ruff" Animation - Sneak Test 2.0 & Cartoony Scramble Run

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to show to you what I have been working on. The first test is a revise sneak exercise, I am calling it "Sneak Test 2.0." I decided to go back and redo the exercise since the first one I did was rushed. Plus I have the character carrying an object this time around which I have really never done in an animation before. So I thought I would give it a try in this type of exercise. The second test is a cartoony scramble run exercise that I am doing from Jason Ryan's webinar series that I am particpating in. Awesome animation series by the way, check it out if you haven't. Hopefully after I get done working on this execerise, I want to do my own version of a cartoony scramble run. Both tests are in step mode, so nothing is smooth out. Just wanted to show you all the key posing. Hope you enjoy the animations. Feedback is most welcome and appreciate. Buh bye for now.

Drawing that I did for my sister's birthday card

I did this drawing for the inside of my sister's birthday card. This only took a couple of trys to get the drawing to look the way I wanted it to look. Plus i haven't drawn for a couple of weeks, so I was surprise by the way it turn out. I use regular paper and a blue prismacolor col-erase pencil.

Where's the new animations/artwork at?

Hey Everyone,

Sorry if I haven't post anything on here for a little while. I have been fighting a very nasty cold as well as exhaustion (who knew that staying up til 2am in the morning and geting a couple of hours of sleep everyday can cause your body to crash). Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have new animations and artwork on the way hopefully in the next few weeks. Sorry for the long delay. Anyways, I got to go and work on some animations. Buh bye for now.

Breaktime Ruff Sketches from my sketchbook

Hi Everyone,

Here are some of the character head sketches that I did in my sketchbook during the Holiday season on my lunchbreak at work. None of the sketches have been clean up since I like showing the underlining sketch of my blocking out process. I use a prismacolor col-erase pencil(awesome drawing pencils) when I sketch. Hope to have more drawings on here soon since the Holiday season is finally over. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the sketches. Feedback is always welcome and appreciate. Thanks. Bye for now.
